In 2022, I began designing labels for members of my family who produce olive oil in a small village in the south of France. I still collaborate with them on this project today, which marked my first steps into graphic design. The strength of their product lies primarily in its place of production. The idea was to preserve an authentic image, particularly through the typography, and then enrich the label with my sketches of olive branches on which nuthatches are perched — an emblematic species of the region. In this way, the authenticity of a handcrafted product is preserved while the packaging stands out through the singularity of its visual style.
Following my work on the creation of Adret’s website, I was tasked with bringing greater visual cohesion to the company’s internal documents. With the recent logo change, a more modern approach became necessary, offering an opportunity to create a refreshed and harmonious dynamic across all materials. The challenge here was sobriety : no drawings, and a relatively simple layout that prioritizes key information. I had to find another way to visually structure and soften the page in order to break away from a generic appearance.
